This was stated, but I want to be sure....H2 Models can be injected over any type of meta? How is that possible?

you can't do it with every model... only ones that have raw data in shared.map,single_player_shared,or mainmenu.map. you can also open any of those and save it directly from it. You can inject over and meta that isnt being used.

so i want the grunt model,
i open newmombassa extract it,
i open waterworks, i find the col for the socorpian, i inject the grunt mode over it,it says refrence data i presse yes, i press save changes, i then change the shaders, and then i swap teh ghost hlmts dependancy to grunt mode, and change ghost vehi lone id to point towards the ghost,sign the map, load map and crash, iam not sure what ive done wrong, is the grunt a model that cannont be injected?

actually ive injected the grunt but its pointless without an animation trigger. try the linking the mc's hlmts and bipds to it

Ok, I am new at this injecting stuff. However I can do a lot with shaders and swapping, so I am not totally new to the modding scene.

But, call me stupid if u will thats fine, but how do you go about changing the dependacy and what about the shaders u talk about? I dont c anywhere in the program where I can change either of these.

Please help, Thanks

I've been trying to inject the Fuel Rod Cannon into multiplayer Coagulation since I woke up today... so about 7 hours, and I haven't had any luck. Would someone mind walking me through it? All I've accomplished so far is the game locking up when I shoot the Sentinel Beam. :|

Remember he said earlier that you have to have DirectX 9 for the viewer to work?

Something you might check into.
