actually, there is a switch on the chip itself to turn it off. The X-ICE should have came with an extension for the switch as well.

Actually evilmidget222, there is no switch on the chip.
I run a sevice installing these every day.
What you have to do is:

1. Press eject to boot into Xenium OS.
2. Enter "Launch Menu"
3. Select "Add A New Item"
4. Select "TSOP"
5. Name Launch Item ( This will be the one you launch to run XB Live )
6. Select LED Color ( This is the color your front panel will glow )

That's it, just go back to that launch item to turn off your chip and run off your xbox's onboard TSOP chip for XB Live.

P.S. As I mentioned I install mod chips, I also install Soft-Mods and operating systems for xbox. If you are interested please e-mail me at [email protected]

No, when the chip runs the TSOP it will continue running the processes the moniter the xbox without actually changing the bios. So your mod chip is just running in the background.
