how do people animate skins or make them clear ?

you can try making an animated skin by, making the skin, make a couple frames of animation, using a GIF animator,

then in 3ds max, import your animated skin, and then apply it blah blah blah...

then in game it SHOULD be animated..if its not then halo doesnt support animated skins.

as for being clear, just make a new document...make size, make transparent, dont put anything on it, then save as GIF, and look under color matte, then see if you can find something called web something....it makes it blend in with whats behind it, this might make it invisible, or just save with no matte and pray

Check out the Tutorials Sections. I'm sure that there is something about this subject. Also, try to use the SEARCH function, it helps a lot.

The Search Function does work, buut there are at least 900 topics on it. When you type something in... I think Stuntman should be a higher rank. He's always helpin' people.
