nothing 2 do with halo but i hope u guys can help

when i started my comp it said windows has reported a problem. your hard drive 0 has encountered a problem. please bak up all files and immediatly replace hard disk..... is there a way 2 fix this without buying a new hard drive?

Try formatting it, it is very very rare you need to replace a harddrive.

What version of Windows do you use? Did you try using ScanDisk/ChkDsk to scan your harddrive for errors and attempt to repair them? Do you recieve that message every single time you start up?

well i fixed it...... lol i got compressed air amd got the dust out of it.... and i think it was over heating cuz a fan was gummed up from dust

hehe, dust-drive 0 has an error starting up.

is all i can say is save all important files and reinstall windows, i have had alot of people come into my shop with the same problems
