ok, first map, very crappy, but the fun is withing the HUGENESS of the level. I made this in about a day or so. The problems Im having right now is my vehicles and my weapons wont show up, water has a big hole in it and is really high, one teleporter doesnt work, and im going to make beach themed scenery for this. If anyone wants you can make beach-themed weapons or vehicles for me :wink: , i have one or two custom weapons in there....i think its the pipe sword.....well i hope to be coming with a open beta soon.....and since its big i could give the .scenario and crap for things like vehicle testing.....who knew 20,000 units is this big :?:

Looks cool. Just add a little bit more terrain distortion and bases. Other than that its a good idea.

thanks.....but alot of the space has vehicles on it (if i can get them to work) and i got the weapons to show but dont respawn

edit: ok...like i said the weapons work but there's no respawn.....here are my two favorite weapons: the pipe and the sword

:O whoa i just started a beach map too. good idea! lol

but it looks like a fun level to play. its simple, which is usually good for gameplay.

heres some pics of my progress in case anyone wants to see... i spend too much time on the bsp of my maps, so they end up too complicated or just not good for playing...

Gecko, that map looks awesome, third screenshot reminds me of half life 2 a little.

ok,im about to release a public beta that includes:
1) a bumpyier map
2) more bases
3) vehicles
4) water to a good size
5) all game types (i.e. odball flags) but about to try out race
6) fully working teleporters
7) vehicle scenery
8 ) a few weapons (no sniper due to huge flatness)
but i have only but one problem. The weapons wont respawn. Im going to make a topic and find out then make the final map and release :D then i will try to make it better and add more custom scenery and ask people if they can make a custom vehicle ( i tried to make a paper airplane but it wont show ingame)

The reason it won't show ingame, is because you're polygons are flipped. And backface cull is always on the the halo render engine. You need to make it have two sides. Or that's my guess anyway :P

You have to make it Net Equiptment, looks plain though, Maybe some updated pictures?
