you don't get it yes you ahve dx9 but your new video card doesn't support it so your only gonna get dx8.1 graphics not dx9.0 graphics

PCworld etc. etc.
and I know proffesional computer people who program like 20 languages including 3d programing.you might also want to make sure you have an agp slot cause if you don't your screwed.

Welp, PC World was wrong

I got my new video card today, and installed it.

See that in the top right corner? DIRECT X 9!!!

Now I'm gonna go test out sapien. It didn't work before....

Mine is an AGP, and my entire computer runs faster now. It takes less than a minute for me to start up halo CE now

and it takes like 2 seconds to start up halo PC....

No lagg so far, but I've only had it for about 10 minutes, lol

yeah your pc runs faster cause now you have a GPU a separate processor only for graphics so now your procesoor is free from runnin ggraphics so its faster also tell us more advanteges and dissanvanges as you find out

Well, PCI cards aren't too fast...they have problems in some cases. But, as long as your system is up to good specs, the card you have will be fine.

I have intel extreme graphics also, but planning to buy a new graphics card.
Anyway mines used to look like WAVERUNNERS:

As you can tell the graphics still suck but a much better than before. The new updates for my intel graphics don't work as good as one of the old updates.

Incase some of you were wondering, I CAN USE SAPIEN NOW! New video cards make a world of a difference....
