CraXtion4

Post by Chaoswarrior »

Yes this is a stupid question, but I couldn't find an answer.
Do I need a modchip or anything to use CraXtion4 or to FTP shit back and forth to my PC and Xbox? I just want to try and rip some shit from Halo 2...

To use Craxtion you need to have FTP access to your xbox via a chip, softmod, game exploit, bios loader, font hack, sound hack etc... the list goes on and on. You cannot FTP using your virgin box. Hope this helps.

your clueless... well almost clueless. more like confused and misinformed. a softmod is a software exploit that uses no chip. you are thinking of a solderless modchip

LOL, maybe you need to look around http://www.xbox-scene.com yourself and brush up a little...

you are correct, a softmod is an ALL SOFTWARE based exploit used to load your own BIOS into the xbox. There are different types of exploits each with their own pros and cons. the best all around to use is UXE. I still dont understand why people continue to waste money on chips when all they are doing is flashing them with the same bios you can use with a softmod. ohh well...

NOT true. You have to flash the bios on the chip, you have to install the chip, you have to upgrade your dash version, you have to install a dashboard etc... With a softmod, the only thing you have to do is install the exploit and the dashboard into your new hard drive and they usually come together in an installer so its a 1 step procedure.
