Finish a new model/mesh? Got something you're working on? Finish a new map? Here's the place to post it for feedback and whatnot.

I dont know, depends how long I'm interested in halo. Probably not 3 years, but maybe a year or two, who knows maybe 3 years. I just don't wanna spend $200 on a video card.

100 would be wasting your money. 200 will be alive for 3 years. I bought my radeon 9800 pro 2 years ago. It was $200. It is still $200. And it is still amazing. I play halo at 1280x1024 all settings maxed at 40-60 fps.

Dont expect to go cheaply on stuff like this... its kind of like those cheap flip flops you can get... you pay $5 for a pair, then they fall apart after a day so you keep getting them... when you could get yourself a good pair for $20 and not have the hassle.

Lol, what a great example!
Well, there are lots of tips about buying graphics cards, making sure they are compatible, make sure the one you purchase wont be bugged up, as in if you buy a graphics card that just came on the market, there could be stuff wrong with it. Also make sure your power supply has enough watts to power it, i have 520 watts and that is enough to power everything easily. But if you go for the pci exp radeon x850 then you need more then that .. that graphics card is evil...
