joining servers

ive noticed that there are a few servers that cannot be joined. theres this one server thats up all the time but noone can join it, its always just that one guy waiting for people to join. its for 16 people too. is there a reason why certain servers are not joinable by pretty much everyone? does it have to do with fire wall keeping people out and the person is not turing off the fire wall when he plays halo or something like that? i wanna know just incase that happens to my server.

yeah i have a frined with the same problem, he runs his net through some router. I can always see his server, but there's something in it that always stops him. I guess that's mostly true for the "unjoinable" servers in Halo.

I had the same problem. I got it sorted and posted the details on what I

so this thing only happens with cable companies usually? and all i need to do is turn off my firewall when i wanna host a server so people can come in?
