Windows Media Player can't save as .mov, and Quicktime can't do the other way around with .wma. Why do you want to do this? If it's for 3ds Max, that can save as .mov. And if not, get a video editor, they can usually save and open many file types.

Oh, I thought the WMM was a typo for WMP, my bad. Anyways, I don't think Windows Movie Maker can save as a .mov, only Low, Medium, and High Quality .wmas.

I'd say that's just one of those company things. Like for I-movie, you can't save the files in a Microsoft file format(.wma), as for WMM you can't save as an apple format(.mov)

Yeah it is, and quite a bit better at that. I would even though i am a PC user. I found the i-life-Suite package for it on apple.com. I'm not sure if it's windows compatible or not though, but for the next few month this Suite is availible to you for not $200, not $100, but $79.00 if you order online :) .
or
There's Pinnacle Studio version 9, check this out to i guess, it does'nt save as .mov, but it does save mpeg1 and 2, * AVI, RealVideo 8, Windows Media, format, including Windows Media 9. I'm not exactly "movie savy" so i don't know if mpeg is good or not for replacing the .mov format(or if mpeg is .mov, lol). It's also $79.00

Well, it's an Apple product and only available on a Mac....so I'd say.....yep it's better.

Pinnacle is VERY nice for PCs, I've tried it on my school's computers. But definetly, if you have money, get a decent Mac and Final Cut Pro HD or Media 100i.

MPEG format is also very nice, it's much like QT and MOV formats.
