Geez. Kid, it costs like 3000$$, there is a free program called gmax, made by the same company (discreet), that is the same thing almost, but with less features.

You could get 3ds max trial though. Runs for 30 days, but with all features enabled.

Jut get Chmp, it allows you to export files into maps, but you need to type .JMS after the file name for it to be recognized as a map.

I don't know where to find chimp, but it's around here somewhere... try the file forums/ utilies.
