that is a really ugly glock model and skin, truthfully. Not enough detail on the model, and if you gave me wireframes, i could point out a lot of errors.

Run an optimization modifier or somthing as there are alot of un-neccessary polygons, Can I see your unwrap with the skin please? that way I can see how you have unwrapped it as I dont think you have unwrapped it too well which is why the skin might not "blend" together in places.
I know, I know, I shouldn't of used box unwrapping. It's just other things give me so much problems. When I use flatten map, how am I supposed to know which polys are for which part of the gun? And when I make the chunks bbigger, well....it becomes box unwrap. I'm gonna learn flatten mapping, my next skin will be much better. :p
no.......it wasn't. Every gun in counter-strike has the right side deleted to conserve polygons. As long as your animations don't tilt your gun 90 degrees to the left, you should be fine with the right side deleted.

Oh ok, well in halo we would have to make custom animations. For example, the pistols ready animation has the mc cocking the gun and shows the top part. But there are some parts you could delete.
