Ok u know in Sapien the controls are like shift, w, s, d, a, r, f, and shit
well mine u have to double click the left mouse button then it moves the camera to that spot... i fux my controls a while back and cant c wtf how to fix it
i have also lost the header of the game window so i cant move it around
i have tried completey uninstalling Hek and CE and deleting the Halo Custom Editon folder but that didnt do shit...


PLZ!! HELP!!

to get the old controls back, either click "Defualt" when in the "Control Settings" screen, or go into "C:\Users\YourName\My Games\Halo" and delete everything in it.

i dunno what exactly your asking, but this is what i think you meant :?

You have to hold down the middle mouse button to look and move around.

how do you open a map with sapien theres no scenario tags. i wanna open bloodgulch

you cant open regular maps....if you want to try out that gun you made go to the halomods domepage and go to tutorials and download the files for the splinter map and the scenerio and open that. if you need more help e mail me

Heh, the scenario tag IS basically the map. It contains everything that you place in Sapien and even calls out what BSP you are using. Once your done in Sapien you are compiling the scenario to create the cache file.

If you want to open Bloodgulch, there are a few different options;

1.) Do it the LONG way... Open up BG in Sparkedit, extract the BSP. Open it in your modeling program, Filip all faces, scale it up, then correct open edges. After that of course you would have to reapply all the textures, lights, portals, osunds, etc. Once you have done all of that, you can create a *.scenario_structure_bsp. Then you can start poopulating with Sapien.

2.) Try to find someone with a tag converter(would really be nice if they would release some of the scenarios).

3.) Wait for Prometheus. I don't think there has been any mention of when it's release will be.

Other than those options, there are pretty much none. #1 is the long way around, but will help you to get a better understanding of the whole process.

Monte Kano, do you have a 3rd button on your mouse? The third button pushed enables camera movement. You have to hold it down as you move, once u let go, it will stop.

prometheus has no seen release date. No one really knows if it will even come out while hal is still popular.

Halo will always be popular. This forum has been up for a long time, and still holds many active members (not a great percentage of total members though) but it does. As long as forums like this stay alive, Halo will too.
