Premium USB Headset 300 HELP, Annoying

Okay, heres a 50$ headset which wont work, and I can't return it. My problem is, when I try to get the volume slider up, as in, I move it up, it starts moving back down slowly and I can't hear anything anymore. On top of that, it wont record anything. How do I fix this problem? This has been plaguing me for weeks, months, and its PISSING ME OFF. Please help, thanks.

You could stick a something in the slider mechanism so it does not go down again. Thats what I would do. About the recording, does it have a mic? If it doesn't, that's probably why.

'Course it has a mic. And I can't stick something in the slider mechanism because, its not a PHYSICAL one. Like the Volume item on your taskbar that lets you change the volume.

Ya i had one of those.... well i accidently tripped on it and broke my usb port, plus i killed the sound part of it somehow, well it was just kinda annoying.... i returned it and got a different one.... btw its only 20 buks now. just goto walmart or something and get a new one for 20... but i suggest that u get one where the headphone dont go ontop of your head, but behind your neck ya no, the nnew style
