Oh crap...another step at making the HEK fail.

When will Halo fans ever get it through their heads...

The more you do, the more problems users will have. There are certain things in the tags that will screw them up if used incorrectly, very badly.

ive tested everything in all my plugins, everything in there works

well except the actv and biped tags, but im sure they work

edit: and id apreciate it, if you didnt talk about how this will destroy the hek and cause of lots errors... i spent a lot of time making these

Well, I'm sorry aaron, but it actually does. You're just taking parts of the HEK and trying to turn them into plugins for HMT. Why would you do that in the first place? I mean, if the HEK is that powerful, why try and strip it down and put it into something that just hacks any other map for PC?

for a few reasons....

1. i like the praise

2. its something to do when im bored

3. it gives people a few more options in the modding

and

4. im doing it so i can get a better understanding of what guerilla can do, because im trying to learn how to tag....

Everything that is done in your plugins is accessible 50x in Guerilla. But, they don't know that, because they don't know anything but the HEK.

Basically, all the map makers seriously plead that people stop USING the HEK for stuff in Halo PC. It wasn't meant for that. You are just taking pieces and pieces of the tag properties in Guerilla and trying to add them to Halo PC.

Please stop "modding" Halo PC in that way. It's kinda not even what you are supposed to do...think about it. Basically, all you are doing is just editing a compressed map, and changing things around. You are supposed to create your own content, not edit Bungie and Gearbox maps...

plus what is the point of modding halo if we never improve our equiptment in which we use to mod in the first place? I don't mean to get you mad , SunnySharma, but ur talking in circles!

Why don't you just do everything primitively? HEX EDIT THE ENTIRE MAP!!!

Your saying that CE map makers are pleading people to stop using HEK for what it wasnt made for....Is it affecting them? Is Aaron taking the map makeres models? nope...He is doing nothing to the map makers...I think you forget the real meaning of modding, modding is to modify things, to make them cooler and funner, with these plugin's aarons making awsome things in PC that we never thought were possible, so what if hes using some thing that was not ment for Halo PC...if its making cool mods no one cares!

Where does it say "HEK NOT TO BE USED TO MAKE HALO PC MODS", cuz I dont see it anywhere, I do see however, "Hek, Made to help make Halo CE maps"

Look, CL, he's taking part of the HEK and trying to put the stuff he found from it in HMT.

That SERIOUSLY affects HEK and CE players, because things like what aaron does bring the numbers down.

You guys AREN'T map makers, and don't use the HEK to it's full extent, so you don't know how it feels.

Posting these kinds of things that use HEK content in PC in anyway are banned in the Files Forums. The threads get deleted immediatly. That's how bad it is.

Halo PC modding isn't real modding.

Look at Half-Life 2. Do people HEX EDIT maps? I don't think so...

if your creating NEW maps its not a modification

if your editng pre-exsisting maps then it is editing

Halo Pc Modding General is the name of this catagory...so surly Halo Modding is soem thing about changing game play...Sunny what came first? Halo PC or Halo CE...Ya...you know..PC did...BUNGIE or Gearbox or watever idk who, but they made HEK BECAUSE people modded Halo PC and they knew people would like to make maps...

I can make maps..but I never release cuz there shit, but at least I try....The only thing banned from Files Forum is talk about ripping content and anything to do with it...I should know cuz Im a moderator there..I can see things you cant...Is Aaron ripping other peoples MODELS? no...then its allowed....End Of Story...

We have two seperate communities for a reason.

I don't WANT TO BE LIKED by anyone on this forum. They are full of "fake" knowledge. Getting excited when an Energy Sword gets posted with an FP pic. Saying a "milkshape" model is soooo cool. They don't know the real deal.

I am liked very much on other forums. Gearbox, HackHalo, EP, and more.

I've designed many things. My maps are played in CE a lot.

I created the Assault Rifle Multipurpose and Flag Pole multipurpose fixes for Halo PC AND CE. Do I care if people like me? I care if I do something good for the community.

The majority of the map makers, those who WERE PC MODDERS IN THE PAST (like meh), look back at HaloMods. They see what is happening now, and they laugh. The laugh a crazy laugh if people who KNOW about CE still try and do something for PC. Or, they laugh a small joke laugh and tell people what is capable in the next level.

Aaron should use his talents for something that could improve upon custom creation. Not simply hacking a stupid .map file.

So er..Whats that got to do with Aarons plugins? Aaron isnt trying to make Halo CE crap...hes just adding to the Halo PC stuff...So are you saying you hate Mono for making HMT? Because it helps mod PC...

Okay dude, I dont care about you..you can wine all you like about how idiotic this is...But these plugins are cool...Hes helping Mono's program to expand..thats always a good thing...
