Hey guys, Crimson here again. Me and Bednarcik Punk have just recently
accuired Battlefield 1942: Secret Weapons of WWII and Vietnam. We are
putting together a team, so far consisting up of 3 people. Me, Bednarcik
Punk, and Halofun121.

The plan so far is to create multiple maps from each game, and put them
all into a Battlefield Map Pack.

We have 3 members aboard the crew, 2 extracters (Me and Bed) then
a tagger, halofun121. We still need a tagger, because halofun will be
working on another map as well.

Everything, yes, everything will be extracted from BF, from the
terrain, to the scenery. Yes, we realize this will be alot of work, but it will
be very interesting as we purge our way through the project.

i'm too much of a newb to be any help. I'm just curious. Does anyone understand enough about the vehicle coding to code entirely new vehicle tags in Halo?

yay for double post. but um yea people can make new vehicles. its pretty easy.

but for yall makin this map stuff... i might be able to help. but not yet. i have to wait until i give up on the map im doing now. :wink:

Vehicles have been made so many times for custom maps it's not even funny.

Killa designed the entire ATV, he made the Snowhog, Civic Hog, and more.

Pipedream has a "Robo" with everything really :D

Ministunt has like 100x custom vehicles...

I like the idea, but I dont think it takes that much work to take the models out but who cares, And arent the terrains stored as a lightmap?

Also will you be adding some of the grass and things they got, it would make it look cool but take alot of effort.

thnx and its uber easy to extract most of the models etc but tagging them takes time...

and btw all thos weapons up there are all under 700 polys i beleaive

all the models in BF are extremely low poly

actually, i asked the same question, but suprisingly, the highest poly
gun we've come across so far is just below 1000, and the vehicles
range from 4000-5000 polys, so itll be really easy to put ingame.
