question about desktop icons

How would i change the pictures that are on my desktop icons? so it has like a picture of a wraith or something

if you want to change the icon of a program (.exe), then download ResHack, which can be downloaded here: http://www.delphi.icm.edu.pl/ftp/tools/ResHack.zip. If it is a folder, then right click on your mouse and go to properties. Then go to Customize on the bar near the top, and then click the change icon button and whooptie dooh!
