It is best to uninstall your old agp card drivers, and then as you are using the 9600 you need the ATI Catalyst drivers:

http://www.ati.com/support/driver.html

Go there, you just got to choose some options which would probably be if you are using win XP

Windows XP > Graphics Driver > RADEON Family

If you are using windows XP just click this link to download the driver:

No dont use there drivers. Go http://www.omegadrivers.net/ for drivers that work much better than ATI's normal drivers. I have a Radeon XT800 Platinum edition and with the Omega Driver's I got 20 more F.P.S. Just download the ATI for your Video card and install it correctly and there u go, much much more frames per second than U could ever have with the ATI drivers. Just make sure u uninstall all of the ATI driver stuff in the Add/Remove Programs. U should have to remove the ATI catylist driver or ull have to uninstall the ATI controll panel. I had to uninstall both so be looking for them both (if u didnt install the catylist drivers then they shouldn't be there)

WAIT. Before you go and uninstall your card make sure that you read ATI's online instructions. There are some motherboards that you need to install special drivers on. If you're getting a black screen after the windows startup logo then you needed those drivers. If that happens, have your old video card in and when you start up your computer press F8 and and select "Last good configuration" option (something like that). Then when your computer boots up install the drivers then put in your new video card.

***I just got a 9600 too. Weird....***
