ok, sry 4 being a noob, but why cant i use HMTv3.5 to edit halo CE maps?

because the tags in halo ce are different then in halo pc

you cant mods HaloCE maps as of yet, unless you have tthe map itself

He means the decompilation of the map, or in other words the map files before it is made into a .map file. You just have the .map file.

Wasn't there a hex change in the mapfile header that let you mess with it in HMT?
I think there was a program back that converted them for you.
