Help with opening a program on HALO MODS then playing it

Hey, when i download anything off this site, i can never get it to open. it says "windows cannot open this file" "to open this file, windows needs to know what program created it", i can either select use the web service to fidn the appropriate program or select the program from a list.

P.S.
Once i mod omething , how do i put it into my xbox to play it on halo 2. do u play it on xbox or pc?

what you are supposed to do is apply the files to the map. and the way you do that is by following the tut....hope it helps

i still help them out though. i dislike just telling them to go somewhere else to then get flamed also there for being a noob.
but i dont c how some people cant tell the difference between "halo2 downloads" and "halo2 modding general" maybe coz ive been here too long.

what can you do though.

oh and if your asking how do I put it on my xbox or does it work on my pc then most likely you dont have a moded xbox so you simply cannot play xbox mods
