Cool, but its probably a tons better to do it on CE? isnt it? If so then where can I buy CE, and how much does it cost.

They are installed in the C:\program files\microsoft games\halo custom edition then scroll down and find them. Oh and that directory is only correct if you installed using standard paths is you custom installed you have to find the halo custom edition folder on your hard drive and they will be in there.

Once you have a .map file, just put it in the correct Maps folder (I don't know what the exact name of the folder is, but if you have CE installed, there should be a maps folder called something similar to "CE Maps"

There is a folder called Maps.

Simple. Drag and drop .map folders in there. You need the Halo Editing Kit, and Gmax/Max 4-7 to create levels.

For Halo Custom Edition maps...Like Zanzibar, download the file. then extract it to

(your local disk drive):/Program Files/Microsoft Games/Halo Custom Edition/maps then run Halo Custom Edition, when you go to set up a server in the list (probably at the bottom will be your new CE map that you just installed)
Your image cannot exceed 400x200 or 50kb

In CE, you don't patch things.
Just download a map, and drag and drop it into the Maps folder in your Custom Edition Directory.

All the custom stuff is built into the compressed cache of the map, and the original textures/sounds are built into bitmaps.map. It shares.
