NEED TO RECOVER CD KEY!!!

hello everyone
i need to know how to recover my cd key not get a new one. I accidently lost my cd envelope and with it the cd key .

Please help

Open the registry
Do a search for "halo" in general
Extract the registry keys from the old game
Export the keys
Go to hard Drive
Copy all the directorys exactly as they are from the hdd
move to new comp
double click regs on new comp
should work

lol haha no i thought that was his sig and didnt bother reading it but...i phoned microsoft and they told me to get my cd and read one of the laser incsripted numbers and they read me back my cd key yay Microsoft. i had no troubles at all
