When i try to play Halo CE i get a graphics card error it is 0x5d57 and it says graphics card might not have a graphics accelerator. I can play halo PC but only after i downloaded the 1.06 patch, if i dont have the patch it says the same thing that halo ce says. Is there a way to fix this problem?
My graphics card is an extreme ax 800 xt and it is one of the newest ones on the market.
Graphic card problem and yes i have a good graphics card

well, the only thing i can think of is updating your video card.
go to the start menu, go to control panal. Click "printers and other hardwear" and on your left will be "also see's" click on system and click hardware and then device maneger. Scroll down to "display adapers and open it. There should be your video card in it, click your video card. Now click trubleshoot first. then click driver. Now click "Update driver".
(WARNING, CHECK WITH YOUR LOCAL COMPUTER DOCTER BEFOR DOING THE FALLOWING! THIS WILL TAKE AWAY ANY UPDATES YOU HAVE DOWNLOADED FOR YOUR CARD)
------------------------------------------------------------------
If that doesent work then you might start thinking about using your roll back driver found in where the "update driver" thing is. This will remove any updates that may be keeping you from playing halo.
Befor doing anything further it would be best to talk to your computer docter and have them take a look at it.
If any of that doesent work then I dont know what will. Good luck bro =)
