wow, its been a long while since i've checked on this topic....
the map looks awesome, i cant wait for it to come out...
HURRY UP! lol, jk. take your time, we want it to be perfect.
i hope i can find my halo disc in time

Sorry for this man :D There are no hidden passages or anything hidden in the map... but belive me, you'll have plenty of different places to explore and hide in :wink:

Well, for the moment we have a "little" 3DSMAX/HEK realted problem with with the last version of the model... so no way to put it in-game since a week until now :cry: ...

Let's hope SSDC and those helping will find a way to work it out fastly!

Yoyorast. This map has become extremely popular. If you wish i could offer you free web hosting for a yoyorast island website. It's completely free, allows mysql and PHP and almost unlimited webspace. If you want to you may contact me on AIM or MSN about it.

It wouldn't only be Yoyo updating. Other team members could. That all depends on what Yoyorast wants though. If he wants just him to be able to update, then so be it.

Man! I'm very honored! What a kind proposition, thank you very much!

Off course I would be very glad to have a website for the map... wow what a good idea!

The only thing is that I have no idea how to make this website and very little free time so if there is someone out there with talents and knowledge in this area.. well just let us know...

I imagine this website being simple and desgin... with some old screens and all... some words on the historic of the project.. exclusive news and new pics (the in-game ones)... the team, a forum (is that possible?)... the story of yoyorast island in the halo context (spartan III is working on it)..
And of course I could be helped for updating the site with other from the team...

The tiltle of the website could be : YIP for Yoyorast Island Project

Well i'm very enthusiaste about that idea... Thanks again BEEF!!!, I we find some talented and passionated guys to achieve the work, it's gonna rock! 8)

Glad to see you will take my offer Yoyo.
Everything you listed there is possible (Yes even a forum :wink: ). If you also wished i could set-up the website myself and create an admin account so you could go in edit news, moderate the forum, and do pretty much whatever else you wanted. Do you have AIM or MSN so I could give you all the details?
