Halo CE Prob, Please Help

Well when I try to load Halo CE it just shuts down and goes back to my desktop , I have tried evrything I could possibly think of but nothing has worked, this forum is my last try at getting it to work. I had problems with regular Halo too but i downloaded all the updates and it worked just fine. I have checked the net for CE updates but found nothing that would help. I have also reinstalled several times, and tried putting it in window mode but nothing helped. Does anybody know to fix this. It would be greatly appreciated. Here is a list of PC specs if that would help any of yall. Dell 4600
RAM 1 Gig
Hardrive 35 Gigs
Video Card GeForce FX 5200 256mb

do you have service pack 2? if so it screwed your computer up. and you need to get red of it.

i have the exact same prob. but my graphic card is worse heh...but i dont think that matters at all

If it is service pack 2, dont remove it. there is a patch for CE around the internet somewhere. it makes ce work with sp2. i think i saw it at halomaps.org or google it

Well, i think it is your gfx card. Halo PC I can see water and I have a really lame graphics card. It's a nividia ge force 2000 or something (can't see shiny junk or gold MC visor! >.<). Halo CE has an updated graphics engine or something, this I know of, because I used to be able tos ee water on PC (stil can) but when I switched over to CE i CANT. I think it is your gphics card.

EDI:T now, what am I doin HERE?! I'm still lookig for HEK DL!

EEDIT: AAH! I could jsut use *******! What a ditz! Dont ask waht it is, google, im not sure mods want me saying what it is

yeah, only reason i would think of would be ur graphics card. i dont think its an outdated driver, cause ive had that before, and it will display a message to tell u. U r using the disk arent u? it may sound weird, but i spent a week after d/l ing ce trying to play it w/out the disk.

LOL yes i am it is probably my piece of crapics card thnx anyway
