What is HEK? CE lets u play custom maps and blah blah blah...

But what does HEK do? Do they cost anything to download?

Do i need to pay for anything at all? or is it all free?(Hopefullly...)

HEK is the map editing kit for Halo CE. You can download it from the this site. Halo CE and HEK are both free to download, but they require a vaild cd key from a copy of Halo PC.
