Where to download 3DS Max 6

ok i searched the site for it and went to the discreet site
they had the page for it but the download was disabled so I got 3DS Max 7 trial version and now I cant use the Blitzkrieg exporter to export as a .jms so anyone know where I can download 3DS Max 6 or know of some other way to fix it?

also another question
in 3DS Max7 i made a UVW unwrap and fixed the bitmap so that it aligned right but then when i try to go to the editable mesh it gives me this pop up thing that says:

A modifier exists in the stack that depends on topology.
Changing parameters may have undesirable effects.

The dependent modifier is: Unwrap UVW

Are you sure you want to continue?

then it says "Hold/Yes" "Yes" "No"
and no matter which I do it gets rid of the changes I made
soooo any ideas?

well just to tell u ONCE, 3ds max can cost over 1000$ , so if your lookin a way 2 download it , your "kinda" teknikly pirating, meaning if you DO find a place that lets u download 3dsmax6(THE FULLE VERSION) for free, piracy man, and halomods.com doesnt tolerate piracy, go somewher else then!

i meant a trial version of it cuz i got a trial version of the 3DS Max 7 from the site
i know that downloadin the full version is piracy thats why i didnt ask for it srry if i didnt make it clear
so please dont give me a speech about it

and if it does work for it then i must have done something wrong
i put the 4 .dll files in the system32 directory and put the .dle in the plugins but the .jms option still isnt there

ok now i think somethins wrong w/ my comp cuz i just stuck a music cd in and its not showin up
ok what now?

EDIT: ok i just figured out that my cd drive and my cd burner drive on my computer are disabled! (or cant be found or somethin) so that might help
how do i enable them?

EDIT AGAIN:
ok went to device manager and found these errors on the disc drives

Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device.

for both the drives

ok this is gettin annoyin, i uninstalled both drives then reinstalled them only to find that both still give the same error
btw i made a topic of this in tech support so u dont gotta answer here but either place is fine by me

EDIT:

WOOOOOOOO i fixed it!!! i found somethin on the microsoft site that had similar problems to mine but wasnt it, i tried it cuz none of the fixes for the problem i had worked. and this worked!!!
what i had to do was go into

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

and delete the upper filters and lower filters there in the registry
then i restarted and it works!!!
