need some help with photoshop

hey i just got photoshop and i need to know a few things


1 if i wanna copy the head of the chief into a pic by going to the magicwand and then select his head ho do i get it on the other pic (can't find paste anywhere


2 when i drag it in it goes under the image i want it on


could some one help me of give me a link to a tut

Im a new to photoshop but you can paste by pressing control v
and you can copy by pressing control c

Than AGain...It would Help if we (or I..or...whatever) Knew what verstion your useing...



O and a Tip About Photoshop....The more you know about layers the better

(I Made My Sigs with photoshop :-) )

i'm using 8.0 what i mean is when i get a render and try to select the mc out with the magic wand (the selecting tool) it only selects the outside of the chief

Ok with it selected: right click and (SELECT INVERSE)
