Lol, You just signed up halomods.com this month, 2 days ago to be exact, and already you are mindstorming some idea for awesome maps. So do I, I have some good maps for thought and I'm sure some of them need to be iron out. What I am hoping to achieve is a map that looked like as if Bungie themselves created it, and I don't want anything original. I want something complete new, something fresh, like Halo 2 maps. Look at coagulation, although it is sweet map, it remind us of blood gulch. Beaver Creek too remind us too. What Im talking about is.. Headlong, Lockout, Ascensionm, Ivory Towers, Burial Mounds (although I dont like that map), Zanzibar, etc.

But the only problem is not only am I newbie to halomods but also I lack knowledge of how to do the mapping.
So right now Im trying my best as I can go.

Lol, I have started nothing, I mean I have 3ds max but I don't know where to begin with. And by the way, I don't know what you mean by hex editing... So Im guess it had to do with bunch of numbers  lol. If you know something, sure, please tutor or so... Anybody else, do that too! :x Maybe I should doodle the map then send it to you? But then again, I want to learn how to mod myself. 8)

Cant live without it. Someone try putting a CD in a microwave, make sure it is a crappy one, it is so cool! Actually, dont do it, instead just search for it on google and you get lots of images.
