Halo Movie Confirmed

Post by QubeMaster »

Yes, I found a site where they have a confirmed release date for Halo the Movie. It will be out in the year 2006. Directed by Ridley Scott. Don't believe me? Check out this link:

http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0436376/

Under genre it says "War, Action." I don't know any other war movies named Halo (although there might be some).

I hope they don't kill the game by making the movie bullcrap.

It's now becoming an American custom to make a movie out of a book. Sometimes it is bad, sometimes it is good, i hope this is better.

If this happens, i'm gonna hang myself.

Halo is not meant to be a movie. The movie-like storyline of Halo 2 is a factor that weakened Halo 2. I'd hate to see what a whole movie would be like of the franchise...

Halo 1 had movie like story line...I love movie like story-lines...(if they are good), i mean i like games but i hate mindless shooters no matter how good they are...give me something to make me feel like im accomplishing somthing...if i just go and kill crap for the sake of killing crap...it gets boring fast...and you are in the minority (i don't care how many people respond to this), that thing games with no story-line are better then ones with em...(every game magazine in the world judges games with the story-line) i mean basically a story-line is the only difference between most first person shooters any hoot...Half-life's story was AWSOME ....and it was extremely movie-like...same with the resident evil series...so i think a halo movie (if done right) would be great but i doubt they can capture the intensity of halo...

i just hope its all computer animated like the games, has the same voices, and same characters. and you dont see the master chief's face, unless its the end of everything or something. i hate it when they screw with what the characters sound and look like, like turning books into movies, they screw with everything, and then add sex to sell it...

firetoy, well said, the best games out there have wonderful stories.

Angry Monk, I disagree. read on.

I didn't even like the cinematics in halo2. The part where he grabbed the bomb as he flew to a covenant ship was embarrassing. I hope they don't build a movie from that.

Halo is itself an interactive movie. Leave it at that.
