lol, yeah, well I've started on the blue base, and boy is it really shaping up, pictures comming on a weekly update, eck, I need to get out of this darned post. Well anyways, tyvm for helping spartan, and if you want, Pie, you can help out... I don't know what you can do, but I'd like to see at least :).

listen, i'm sry for the competition earlier-but now we're merged(officially i think>?) but i started this map way before you guys (month ago...)so that's probably why people are with me... Plus i've made all the h2(weapons & vehicles).

BTW cg, i can make animations in 3dsmax-but i dunno how to get it in game...that's where Capt D comes in!

wow that's great, i'm really retarded when it comes to getting animations in game plus my sapien on one of my comps is fooked up & my dad won't let me have halo stuff on my other (which has an amzing grafix card btw) so i've been pissed...

but...luckily i have many friend who can compile stuff for me & use sapien for me since i just model/skin/animate now(dam hek shiz)...
*creates 3d image of hek & slits her throte then dumps her in a garbage can & throws ina pool full of sharks...no gators...wait, wait-how about purrannas=YA :twisted: :evil: :twisted: :evil: :twisted: :evil: !*

arg....someone needs to write or film a detailed custom animation (reload maybe) tutorial and possibly sound inportation...because my sound stuff isn't working the way i would think.

My pistol needs reloads...*cry*

In the pistol_ammo tag, just replace the model with your clip model.
And then save as something else, and use that and insert it in your weapons tag (The place to put it in is somewhere)

nah...not yet at least. I looked over them but i never even had a formal meeting with the team so i haven't even gotten in contact with anyone cept Scout & that was on XBL...so no word yet. Right now i'm at a friend's house for the night be i'll be back tomarrow & i'll get back to work i guess.
I really would like to know the team & start figuring out what's gunna happen to both of the layouts...

i've really been tring to make my backscenery(buildings) look as accurate as possible. Everything is really shaping up but i want to get the easy base outta the way so it can be tested in the beta(i hope). As for scenery, everything seems to be complete: bus, light posts, boxs, etc...
I really need to finsh the ionside structures so that i can have basically evrything done except the harder base. If all goes well & it gets skinned then the beta should be ready shortly. Unless the other people decide to use their map then it'll be a long ass time for anything if you ask me?

anyways, i might finish the insides to get that outta the way & i'll post pics once that is complete. After that it'll be back to the back scenery then to the easier base & then we'll go from there. But actually i think that the other people are gunna do the bases if i'm not mistaken(i woulkd know but we haven't had a chance to sit & discuss this thoroughly)...?

one question for ya, hows the poly count of the level as of yet.

another question(okay i lied about there being one) is there any big moving stuff thats going to be animated scenery like in zanzi? i havent any h2mp maps in a while

well...the poly count for what i have right now is around 11k(with poly choper: 6k) & tha's only about half way done i guess(maybe not even half: 1/3 done i think?). As for animated scenenery-i talked about this on my other topic post & i asked what people wanted: lagtacular game with animations or a normal one? the answer i got back was for "NORMAL!"

but if i do animate anything it'll be for the swaying bridge & pole...

I have half of my version of the map complete... it's only 2k polygons, so I figure if I multiply that by about 3 or 4 it will only be 6 to 8 thousand for the full level...

Now for the stuff that you DONT see in the picture that would normaly be there will be added as scenery.

keep in mind that everyone sees it different. Someone could go jump to the swaying thing and think they made it but just fall.

i hope you guys don't make the swinging portion. it would really create lag. when the map itself lags, it really gets bad when the 56k'ers join in... any map does. but imagine if the map is laggy by nature?

i have a ghost boarding animation ready, only if someone is able to get it in.
of course it needs some tweaking, but that no problem if u guys are able to get it in.
