oh yah, i can agree with that^^^ or you could try making your own maps or anything to pass the time...how bout trying that and maybe you'll appreciate it a little more.

yea... yea..... sorry. just working on... THE MAP! i finally have the south block inserted, basically enclosing the map except for one hole on the west. i spent most of this week on some freakay road textures... had to cut them up into blocks so it would load into the material editor. The intersections also look awesome... you'll see! One thing i am wondering is how in NMC did they get the lane lines to glow yellow or white? is a shader applied to the whole texture? in that case, why doesn't the rest of the asphalt glow? now i have a predicament on my hands too. the south end of the city is made of windows that break..... and i mean big office buildings that when spraid with AR fire turn into something from mech assault. the whole north side is not made of any glass whatsoever, creating huge imbalance. i have two options.... get rid of the glass feature all together, because it's a huge drain on the poly limit (which i'm over by a few hundred thousand
, or make everything glass, prolong release even longer, but make it wicked cool cause everything blows up. i'll let you, the fans decide, because i just love you so much. also, can someone please tell me how to make it so that two objects are connected and their seems are connected to the dot? and what is that way of lowering polies in an object? more pics of the promised free-hand art coming soon.... as soon as i can get my scanner situation worked out. please be patient, and have faith.

with the glas thing is the entire buildings made of glass? cos if so the level wud be destroyed in 5 minutes lol.
the polycount thing: u can get a plugin like polymax or polycountmax im not sure, i have herd of it i dunn if it exists.

hahaha there's no "they", it's just little old me here. and yes, i have pictures ready, I just have to quick download photoshop and flash fxp so that i can resize them appropriately and load them onto the net (they're free hand scans). I reformatted my comp a few weeks ago and haven't got to downloading all my old programs yet.
