Help: New Error!!

wow my skillz are so amazing that i created a new error in Tool

well ive never seen that error before but can any1 help me and yes ive ran dxdiag because of this ive not been able to play halo for 3 months

Whenever that happens to me(DXDIAG), I reboot my computer and it works.

I have that mistake to from about 1 month. Thats why I cannot play Halo CE (my HaloPC isnt working(doesnt want 2 re-install(I've already uninstalled it)))
Kan any1 help? It doesnt even get 2 that screen.
When I run DXDIAG it says that the 3D acelleration is UNAVAILABLE.
It cannot be my gfx kard (i've got a brand new GE-Force Fx 5200)
Can someone plz help??????????

wut might have happened is somehow a file needed to use directx and stuff like that got delted u can either try reinstalling wut it needs or whipe ur hard drive

lol i had that error too, i think you typed the directory wrong or u need to reinstall hek... worked for me

my friend had the same problem and he called microsoft and they told him how to fix it but he didint tel me how

it has to do with service pack 2, i think... certain 256mb cards have problems and i remember seeing it somewhere but i forgot, i will try and look for it and i will edit this post with info

all threads need to have prefixes like "model:" or "misc:" but in your case
you would use "help:"...ive fixed it for you this time; but next time the thread will be deleted. please read all forum rules before posting.

i get this problem every now an then
alli need to do is reinsatall the gfx card drivers
i have a geforce also and theats the only problem other than its a mx440

no need for rebooting or reinstalling.. go to run in your start folder, type in DXDIAG and there, your in that program.. if you need any help tell me

I had the DxDiag error and it can be solved by getting the latest hotfix from the official halo/bungie website.

To the second guy ((kb)ninjag) That error doesnt mean just let DxDaig run, i means enable the 3d acceleration. And read what it says in the bttom, may say some error. If not reinstall video drivers.

i dont know happend to me b4 and i installed a video driver and it worked perfect!

LOL, You may as well had no graphics card, drivers are the software they use to convert the picture and stuff.
