.obj files in 3Ds Max

.obj files in 3Ds Max

I want to alter some models (weapons/vehicles) so I extracted them with HMT and tried to open them in 3Ds Max. But when opened I don't see anything but it does say the model is selected. How do I get the model to appear normal?!? Do I need a plug-in? I'm using 3Ds Max 7.0 and it's for Halo PC.

yes u need a .obj importer and exporter for max....i'd give u one but i had a hard time finding it and can't be bother to look for it now since i'm in school....IM me on MSN at [email protected] and ill send u the file i have when i'm home

Also the models import REALLY small, scale it up by like 5000
