Ever wonder what would happen if MC missed the covenant cruiser (in that old Halo 2 teaser trailer where he jumps out of the ship)? Here's my theory:

LOL...but I think He'd burn up in the atmosphere....just had to put that in.

Let's just assume that the Mjolnir's shields could protect him. Although now that I think of it, if he had hit the covie cruiser, the difference in mass would probably be enough to splatter him over the ship's hull, assuming its sheids didn't stop him (In The Fall of Reach, MC boards a different covie ship the same way, and he had to get through its shields first.)

Yeah, but then he had boosters to slow him down, and he wasn't in freefall towards a planet.
