sapien error... camera wont move

well, basically my camera wont move. i cannot look around with my mouse or use the keyboard to move the camera. my mouse works, it just doesnt work to move the camera. i tried reinstalling hek but that didnt work. im still workin on learnin the hek stuff so it may be a simple error. lets hope so...

how are you trying to move it?

your supposed to hold down the mouse3 button (middle button) and use the regular halo keys (WASD).

you can speed up by pressing shift

have you tried just placing all the netgame flags using geurilla - you can set the coordiantes

its a last resort.. if you can call it a resort

i can still place objects in sapien, i just cant look around to place them exactly where i want them, its almost a random thing

update: no success with a different mouse. i tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling the HEK and HaloCE but i didnt get any success with that either. Is there some kind of temp files that keep settings... maybe i could delete those and completely start from scratch, or look at something in the registry, but i dont really have any ideas about how to get this to work correctly. the funny thing is is that it was working last week and then it just decided to crap out on me. if anyone gets any ideas, im willing to try just about everything.

I read something about this error before... it has to do with your mouse settings in Windows. I'll see what I can dig up... in the meantime... can you use your middle mouse button for other things.. like scrolling on web pages in browsers?

yes, my middle mouse button works every where else. I have the logitech mx700 mouse if that helps any... its wireles with 8 buttons including middle mouse button/wheel. Also... could it be a problem with windows service pack 2 that caused this because it used to work before i installed it. i dont know if it stopped working when i installed it though it could possibly have been before i installed it but im not sure.
