Custom scenery problem

Finish a new model/mesh? Got something you're working on? Finish a new map? Here's the place to post it for feedback and whatnot.

Custom scenery problem

Post by Hexblade »

ok - ive made a custom scenery.

it all shows up on sapien, but when you get close to it it dissapears, and it is miles away from the point that i set it at.

so in guerilla, i change the offset -340x 35y

it is exactly on target.

when i export the level - the model itself is there, but when i look at it from a certain angle, it dissapears.

Also, there is no collision geometry. I can walk straight through it, but it sometimes tries to move me out the way a bit.

(i have made the collision geometry, and it is exactly the same as the origonal)

no no no... its sooooo simple... go into ur actal scenery tag and near the very top you will see somethign called bounding radius... set that to like 20 and u should be good... the bigger the objecqt the larger the bounding radius....

hope that helps!

With my model i placed the main frame in the same spot in both my model and CG and made sure the model and CG were roughly in the same spot in 3ds. I simply merged the 2 and checked. That worked for me.
