Cant join

When i try to create a game in halo ce i get in but it does not show up in the list of games. the people that want to join try to direct connect to me but that dosent work either. i no i am doing it right i dont no whats wrong. i used to be able to host but now i cant. please help i really want to host.

Do you get any error messages?
and are you using a noCD patch?
And is your firewall alowing you to?

i made halo ce an exception cause i have the windows xp service pack 2 (sp2).
edit
ill try getting rid of my patch.

sorry for double posting but no that did not work, any other suggestions. should i unistall sp2. cause ever since i downloaded that ive been having trouble, i think.

comon people i really wanna host.

Dunno if this is a related issue but do they have the same version of Halo as you? A while back I tried to play a friend and it wouldn't let him join because he didn't have Halo v1.05....

That couldn't have happened, you need to update your halo pc game in order to play online... obviously he had v1.05.
