PS2 noob need help with modding.

Post by evalonso89 »

Since I have the XBox, my brother bought a PS2. We are both familiar with the XBox, but are total noobs when it comes to PS2. Is it generally the same way as XBox (flashing, dashboards, etc) Can anyone recommend any good reading for me to find out what kind of chip I need, what version I have, etc. I've been searching for some PS2 modding forums, but haven't really found anything good. Any help is appreciated. Reply here, or email me at [email protected]
Thanks.

Don't know, most of us don't even like PS2, so you would probably have more luck elsewhere, but I'll look into it some for you.

I reccomend going to Mount Doom and throwing your bro's PS2 in the lava. Let it burn.

yes but the ps2 modchips require major soldering to the mainboard, and the mods arent as powerful as the xbox

there is a chip by dms tech, there is a link at xboxscene
