Thanks. I'm almost done with Hang em in Hell 2, then I'll do an update for this. I'll make a "real" lightmap like I'm doing for Hangem2, then it will only be dark in certain places. Is there any other updates you guys would like to see?

Here are some suggestions:

-Human turrets on each base,
-More trees so that it will look like 343 gs
-Maybe some toxic plants with a green fog emitter above it, so that it will
look like green gas that is comin out of the plant. ( and make the green
fog do damage)
-Better lightmap (you said that already)
-Battlerifle

If possible i would like to see two different types of snipers like one could be like the one in the WW3 map that shoots the mini nuke and the sniper from Nightwinder

Well, you will be happy to know that the new lightmap makes the level look 100% better! Thanks for the suggestion. You don't have to be scared anymore, except for for the players lurking in the shadows of Flood Gulch 2. :)

Hey swese good job its a great mod.
Unfortunatly iv'e had majior problems at the moment and they are taking up all my time so im out of the modding scene for a while, otherwise i would love to help out.

Ya, it's not real water like in SP maps. But I just noticed that if you duck down in the water in BC, it's the same thing, one surface with the water shader on it. So you could say it's real MP water.... :)



Udate on V2: New lightmap is partway done and is looking great. Gabs converted a silenced submachinegun model for the AR for me, it looks good. Working on new music, and gonna try to get SP music in the level, but that would probably put it over the 47MB point. Would you guys rather have a regular sized map, or have cool music but have to use Swamp Fox's default.xbe patch?

Hey I'm sorry to hear that. I know I'm halfway around the globe, but let me know if I can do anything for you. I hope everything turns out well for you, it'll be good to have you around cuz Halo 2 is just around the corner. :)

i dont know if it would be possible, but it would be awesome if you could get some lightning that actually flashes in the sky.martijn's suggestions were good too. otherwise its lookin good!

Ya definitely. I've already thought of a few ways to do it. If I can get HHT5 to rebuild my map, I think I can do it with a CE conversion. :) We'll see.

but... lol, it's called flood gulch. meaning that it has either rained or is in the process of raining. personally, i like the rain, it tricks the eye's into thinking they saw something though they actually didn't.

I think he was just talking about the sound of the rain. And the sound will be different.

Come on CLuis! I need HHT5 to finish this! Thanks in advance, I hope you release it soon, so people will get a chance to play this mod (before Halo 2 is released). :)

dude that mod is cool & i know cause i downloaded it u should of put cool stuff like a building that u need a teleporter 2 get inside...(its easy) 8)

I'm done with Halo 1, unless people really want me to update this mod. I'm not going to add a building, this level is right on the border of lagging with all the new scenery and effects.
