Other than Photoshop?

Is there anyway to edit textures without using Photoshop? My trial expired and I don't have $650 for an offical one. WHAT CAN I DO!

the gimp, it's free and it supports many PS plugins

What do I download to keep it free? It looks like the cheapest is $20.
If I click on the older version it takes me to the buy page.

You have to download it. That's why I posted the link to the downloads page. If you want it delivered to you on a CD, then yea, you have to pay for it.

You need
gtk+-1.3.0-20030216-setup.zip
and
gimp-1.2.4-20030213-setup.zip
to run the gimp.

yea, it's the Linux umage editing program, ported to Windows
