problems compressing?
awesome map man!!!
Has anyone had success or failure compressing, I am getting dirty disc error after compressing it.

ok, i had taken an hour to figure this out, i have taken extra steps (i think and i will share)
1. Creat a directory on you comp to store the trashbash.exe
2. CLEAR ALL CACHE ON X,Y,Z
3. Play halo and load up hangemhigh then reset xbox.
4. FTP over the cache003 to the same folder as trashbash.exe and rename to map.map(you should only change the cache003 to map and leave the default.map) and run trashbash
5. Rename the map.map back to cache003 and FTP back over to where you got it from (the X,Y,or Z drive)
6. Load up halo cache editor and patch with the ppf.
7. Repeat steps 4 and 5
8. FTP over hangemhigh.map and rename it to map.map and run trashbash, rename it to hangemhigh after running trash bash FTP to xbox in the same DIR.
9. Load up halo and enjoy
Yes i realize some of these steps can be stepped but im just saying how i got it to work. took me long enough and i thought no one would tell how so i just thought this would help other.
TO EASILY GET BACK HANGEMHELL TO CACHE: just save the cache after you patched it again after applying the ppf(step 7) and FTP to the box the cache with the ppf applied to it.

use hht4 to compress
Thanks zj695000, when I used hht4 to compress it worked. Before I used hmt2 to compress when it caused a dde.

Glad you guys like it. Halo has gotten to be like legos for me-I never really play it anymore, I just like building stuff.
Hopefully I'll have time this week to get back to Flood Gulch 2, I'm real busy with classes. I wanna wrap that up quick though, cuz I have a few more projects you guys will like.....

This map is perfection at its finest IMO. I think the weapons are so balanced that I wouldnt mind actually having this fully replace hangemhigh from now on. I did notice that when the needler is picked up that i cant see it, but to me that detail is so tiny that I realy dont mind. AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!!
Actually the needler should be replaced by the sentinel gun (which I couldn't get a fp model to work for). Although I tested this map to death, I just realized that I didn't test for all game types. Anyway, thanks for those comments, that means a lot. I tried to keep the weapons balanced out best I could, I'm glad you approve.

I think hang em heaven woud be bitchin, mist on the ground like in TSF's 343gs, heavenly sound effects, replace the lava with water, put a halo on the master chiefs head, I mean the game is called halo after all.
This is my fav mod right now......It's balanced and a "hell" of alot of fun to play....
