ummm, either you're crazy or you've been reading tabloids, probably a bit of each. Saddam had no plans to attack the U.S. that was Bin Laden behind the attacks. and to get a report containing enough specefic info to have actually stopped the attacks would have required high-level infiltration into Al-Quaeda, something that is slighty difficult as they brainwash everyone right down to the janitors (hence their intense hate for all things American). So what you're saying is that after going through all that effort to get a reliable agent in place, get that agent high enough up to be privy to such information as the when and where of specefic attacks, and get the information back to the United States, all without someone catching on and feeding false-info or stopping it entirely, they completely blew off their intel, is that what you're saying? sounds like it, and that's just bullshit.
This war is uneccasery and shouldnt have started. All on a hunch that weapons of mass destruction. If he had let the inspectors do there job, this whole thing could have been prevented.
yes, if Saddam had stopped interfering with the inspectors and had let them do their jobs, after three-months of warnings and threats and just plain non-cooperation, the war in Iraq would not have happened.
