aww man.. I cant get it to work.. Dirty Disc Error...

I think I followed it all correctly.

1. rename fresh bloodgulch cache to map.map
2. launch the trashbash utility within the same folder
3. patch
4. compress and replace

*scratches head* :?

Swese did you use HHT4 to inject the water shader? Because everytime I try to inject it the wave bump doesn't show up in game, anyway thanks if you can help.

Yaya I thought I was anyway. :) I've only seen 2 posts here dealing with water (except for SP->MP conversions). One was a post with only a pic or video clip, probly a few months ago, of water in BG, and the other was they guy with the weird name whose BG ppf said "holy shit it's finally been done!" and it only had the teleporter shader put on a small block. Having never seen a posted water mod I assumed I was the first.

Stinger77, yes I used HHT4 but the water shader is pretty testy, it doesn't like to work.

To everyone who can't get the ppf to work, I don't know what to say. Are you guys patching with ppfomatic or hce? I tested it with ppfomatic and it worked fine. I just put BG cache003.map in the trashbash folder as map.map, rename to cache003.map, patch and send to xbox.

I'm using HCE and do not have a problem with it.

I just downloaded NMP2/CXE and found (much to my surprise) that Flood Gulch was included with CXE. So if you have trouble getting the patch to work, download the installer for NMP2/CXE. I couldn't get it to compress, so I don't know how Team CXE did it.

I'm not sure what you mean, I posted this thread on Friday morning--how would you have not seen it if it was included with CXE? I'm glad you guys decided to use it, now everyone who was having trouble getting the patch to work won't have a problem.

What does "RIC'04" mean? That is written in the description of Flood Gulch on the Select Map page on CXE.

If you guys liked this map could you let me know, give me some feedback please? I haven't gotten much feedback good or bad here, probly because it was snatched up by CXE so quickly after I released it so there really isn't a need to download it again. Thanks guys (and girls).

Really? I didn't think it was too dark. At least not dark enough you'd have to be scared. :)
