Is There A Way On Intel Intergrated Graphics...

Post by {XS} Shaggy »

I was wondering if there was a way that made it possible to see specular, decals, and whatever the third option is on graphics thats disabled if your graphics arent all that great. I can see limited textures and I can see skins and armour colors, a pic is below:

If there's a way to see decals and such with Intel Intergrated Extreme Graphics 3D. I updated the drivers,it looked a lot better than what it used to, but it still isnt great.

If there's a way, or anyone has any ideas, no matter what they are, let me know, please. And no, "Go buy a new video card." I would, if I felt like spending a couple hundred dollars on one, which is why I'm asking this.

There is no way you can. All integrated graphics cards are CRAP. Even if it's an ATI or Nvidia integrated card it's crap. for about 100 US dollars you can probably buy a good video card that has both good performance and graphics. Don't listen to that Ghost guy I think he's just advertising ram.

Actually, not all intergrated are all crap. They might look like crap and might seem like crap compared to thier AGP counter parts, but I have a friend who has nVidia GeForce MX4000 intergrated into his pc's mobo, with 128 megs of vm, and he has specular and stuff. I didn't think there would be a way to get my Intel graphics to do that, but, it was worth asking.

You could be screwed trying to get a new graphics card anyways. Your computer could be like mine, where the agp slot was removed from the motherboard and your stuck with integrated graphics, which will run games somewhat decently, but not as good as a real card.

Yeah, I just got around to noticing that they didn't finish loading for some odd reason or another.

when i had 98 installed i could only play in safemode, but when i have 2000 installed, i can have everything on max! i can have the resolution set to max, but there is slight lag when just playing multiplayer with no one in it, so if even one guys joins it starts lagging, so i keep resolution down, but everything else is on its highest setting. i thought i had a crappy video card until i saw some other people's screenshots... now i feel like hugging my computer :D :D :D
