Quick tut on making a nuke?

Can someone giv me a quick but detailed tut on how to make a NUKE?????

ive searched and read ad tried but i still cant get it to work!?!?!?!

There used to be a nuke tut on here somewhere. Do a search for "nuke" on the forums, you'll find something.

I was assuming you've found some nuke tutorials. The first time I tried to make a nuke I got mr.exception lets see here... About 7 times. If you know how to revuild a map its easy. And by the way don't expect to be able to make mono's nuke either. Its really really hard.

Not really. Just get the POA explosion (right?) and the pelican crash effect (or contrail, I forget) and stick them in with some tinkering in HMT.

You would still be missing the sounds, bright lense flare, and you would need to do some xml editing and change the particle system.

Yeah. He just put a little more work into it than most of us do. This isn't that hard to do though. Lens flare can be added in the effect's xml, as well as sound. It's not hard to edit xml files either.

thx guys i did find another tut that worked! :lol:

but like you said i dont have sound or the bright lense flare thingy
but i got it to work good enough so thx :lol:

Hey Super! Just wanted to let u know that I came up with a new concept of making tacticals nukes that don't wipe out the entire board, have a flash, and a mushroom cloud :-) you can edit the particles systems in HMT for the frag explosion and give it a mushroom cloud that stays for a few seconds, and then you can go to lights and swap the frag explosion for the needler explosion for a bright lens glare (oh ya and swap the Lens one too) ;-)
