problem with my DED SERVER read on plz

i am having problems with my halo DS... tell me if this is correct

Halo con server port: 2305

Halo dedicated server port: 2302 ( i guess thats default no way 2 change it?)

halocon reads everything fine saying its DED serv ,ect. for HALO i have these Network Settings

server port: 2340

client port: 2350

i made the serv and client ports diff than rcon becuz i heard that having them the same ports makes it mess up when running DS on the same comp as when ur playin halo @ the same time...so when i go to multiplayer i click direct ip, i type in my ip [68.255.111.134:2302] including the port (:2302) i try to connect and it says:

Connection Rejected: your clien is newer than the servers WTF IS THAT? could it be that i have to change my client port to the same as the Rcon? wuts happeneind?

You need to get the latest version that corrisponds with your version of halo...otherwise you will not be able to join the server...

hmm thanks, i was reading a tutorial on making halo DS, but they said to get latest patch which was 1.04, so i guess they need 2 update their sh!7, but anyway thanks i got the 1.05 patch for DS and it worked, I only know basic commands so i have to look @ the "read me" document to learn everything, crap whatta drag
