Unbelievable!!....

Finish a new model/mesh? Got something you're working on? Finish a new map? Here's the place to post it for feedback and whatnot.

Lol, that bike is the only thing that ISN'T real, it was photoshopped onto the backround.

See even the most advanced renderer can't render that image. I.E. xbox 2s new render/physics engine (check it out it's AWESOME).

HINT: look at the tire treads on the bike then look at the one on the car, see? The car has visible grooves on the tread, tops, and the bikes is totally flat.

The front of the bike, above the wheel, was poorly photoshopped in.

i downlaoded the demo, along with another program i forgot the name of...i haven't fully figured it out yet but it does come with some example and plently of textures

It is under 80mb (if that matters to you)

Try it out and see what you think. It can export in 3DS format along with plenty of other (lightwave, blender, etc)

cinema 4d is a very big (not size) program, its very close to 3d max maya caliber, if you havnt been looking at pics like that or just dont have a keen eye for that sort of thing then I guess how u could mistake that as real, but there are much better pictures than that, the realism of the textures are pretty poor.

i see quite alot of lighting errors, good job though, the materials could have been better,
and for those of you going on about max, c4d and maya, its not the programs making the realism, its the renderer and global illumination engines ect.
the model itself can even be made in milkshape with enough time.

sorry about double post but this is seperate, the xbox2's render engine is very primative you fool, its because it has to be done in real time.
so no, dont compare a realtime engine to a stills renderer engine.

Yeah, realtime creates all of the rendering when you save it and so on as realtime shaders, this uses advanced lighting on vray surfacing, to render that woulda taken... 20 - 40 mins?

Do any of you know how long it took to model 1 frame in say.. shrek? cauz im really curious...

Thats not bad actully... considering they are rendering like 8000x8000 or more display.. So they could render like 5 minuites of the movie a day... dang
