Graphics card.

Your new graphics card must have at least 128mb of RAM and fully supports DirectX 9. Get a Radeon 9200. Fairly cheap and good quality.

It's the only way unless you want to try to force those options available and have a good ol' Halo slide-show. With a card that bad, I'd be afraid that your computer would explode if you enabled that stuff. It won't but you never know. *slaps WW-II army helmet on head and hides in a bunker*

Here is how to find out what graphics card you have.

Right Click on your MY COMPUTER icon that is on your desktop
Select PROPERTIES
CLICK ON THE TAB THAT SAYS HARDWARE
CLICK ON DEVICE MANAGER
CLICK THE + SYMBOL NEXT TO DISPLAY ADAPTORS

Now write down what it says EXACTLY. There MIGHT be two of them...write them both down if so.

Compared to the new Radeon X800/X700 or just about any high-end Nvidia card, it's cheaper than dirt. $70-$100 ain't bad.

Wow, your only choice is get a new Computer. Because, even if you buy a new one, from the looks of it you have PCI graphics... That means none of the latest cards will fit on your motherboard! So you would have to buy a new motherboard with an agp slot.. Sorry, happened to me too, I bought a 9800 Pro in march and learned there was no slot because of my old computers shitty PCI (or built in graphics) card. So, I bought a whole new computer, I was getting a new one cause the old one was running 1.6ghz lol.. Your screwed, sorry.

That's not true at all. There are plenty of good PCI cards out there that work, if not as good, than better than an AGP card. Hell I've got a 256mb PCI and it works f*cking great. Yes AGP by standard is better but that doesnt mean that he can't just go get a decent PCI card. Thats a better solution versus getting a whole new pc.
