looks good. only bone i have to pick with it is taht i can tell it's incredibly high poly. i know that you can make it have about half as many polys. otherwise it looks great.
I don't see it being highpoly at all. Sure it could have less, but it looks fine to me. The problem I have, is that my video card doesn't do bump mapping. And that I don't really like the SMG anyway.
Are they gonna give the guns good names in Halo2, instead of these boring generic names?
it doesnt look that unfinished to me, add that handle thats in the front and maybe around the trigger and the sights on top of the gun and i think its pretty much done, most of the stuff on the halo2 model looks like the detailing was done by bump maps. Believe it or not, bump maps are amazing, [lotr]argrn showed us that recently when he skinned his p22's

Go under Current Renders (First set it to Brazil r/s)
and then check the Rprim edge
and then theres a yellow colored box, change the box to black and then check the box on the left
i love in halo 2 how MC flicks off the side clip from the SMG and it flys through tthe air or drops to the ground if u make it to the clip do not attach it to the gun so it looks like its connected but its not that way u can give it a custom animation for the clip to flick off
